The oldest new jack

Hi everybody,

I just joined, I was so excited to find a community on the net with folks who love NJS as much as I did/do.

I live in japan now but an originally from Australia.
At the height of the NJS era the only other person I knew who liked this music was my girlfriend at the time, although we were at the club every Friday night with every other New Jack Swinger.

Before she introduced my to the genre i wasn't a very big music fan. However when I first heard NJS I couldn't believe that music could be so good, I was so excited.

Visiting home a couple of months ago I was rooting through my old stuff at my parent's house and found my old purple suit that I would wear every weekend and my love was re-kindled.

I'm old enough to have a lot of first hand knowledge so I hope that I can be useful to the group.
