Hi there,

I just stumbled across this site and have lurked around a bit. Wow! I never thought that there were so many NJS fans out there. Who knew New Jack was an international phenomenon?

I am from the US (am I in the minority here?). Oh, the memories that this site has brought back!! The music of Troop (they were so great live!), Guy, Basic Black, Hi-Five, Colin England, Wrecks-n-Effect, TLC, Mint Condition, After 7, the New Edition crew, Keith Sweat, Today, Full Force and so many others.

I remember all of the time that I spent at the record stores , watching Video Soul on BET ( hence my posting name), and going to concerts( ooh those Budweiser Superfests were great!). The NJ and R&B of that era was great!

Hey Ooh La La,

You are certainly in the right place. There are quite a few people from all over over the world on the site and the good thing about this site, is that it allows us all to talk about NJS and related music.

No doubt, you will have a great time and please do post about those albums or tracks that you like in the obscure section.

I remember my thrill when i first came across this board earlier this year... I still can't believe it took me so long to get here!!!

Now, it's an addiction - you might as well get used to that.

In a few weeks, you won't be able to do anything else, but thinkin' about when you'll have the next opportunity to log on.
