Another New Jack lover

Hi all, let me introduce myself. I'm DJ Freez' from The Netherlands, almost 31 years of age and a huge music lover. Most of all it's 'black' music, which started off with my childhood idols Musical Youth and Michael Jackson. I still am a fan today, of both artists and am a huge hiphop lover as well. I started to get into NJS around '90/'91 I guess and still can't believe that it didn't grow any bigger and that it kinda dissappeared.

To me, New Jack Swing is great funky, melodious music with great harmonies. I keep hopin' that it will make a re-entrance in music someday.

That's about it yo, peace!

Thanks!

Yo Freezz, 'sup? Had to sign in of course and drop you a message, so here it is. I'm with you about the re-entrance thing, you know that. Let's just keep hoping and listening to it and eventually..... who knows..

Talk to you later man.

Whatsup KC and welcome to NJS4ever  Thanks for reminding me to visit this site some more, I definitely will!

I would like to share with everyone else over here one thing that you already know: I'm enjoying lots of NJS in my car at the moment, it's perfect music for driving your car :D

As you all might have found out, KC and I go a long way back and we are both enjoying the New Jack Swing a lot!

I didn't notice the zype line underneath your message. Was it there before?
If it was, wasn't it a f*** coincidense that we talked about him the other day? haha

I think I put the Zhype line as a quote the first time I posted here, so it must have been there for 'ages' :D :D :D

[quote It didn't completely disappear, it changed into a tougher RnB sound called hip hop soul. It's the same thing but a different sound.

Thanks for your reply Nicole. I posted 'kinda dissappeared', mostly because there still are some productions that are very NJS or NJS-alike. Especially TR productions still have a great deal of NJS appeal or could even be considered NJS still today as far as I'm concerned.

I read most of your posts here and welcome you as a likeminded individual.
Peace to all of you.

Agreed!!! on all of the above, but still.......It isn't like it used to be... Sure there are other great acts now, but I'm yearin' for some oldskool NJS
