Thank you very much Ghisenstak for stopping by. Means a lot!
By the way...to everyone reading this, it was Ghisenstak who designed the logo and site themes to Njs4ever.com (and they're now being used for everything NJS4E-related!) so show some love and check out http://www.underground-soul.com and you can register there too!

NEWJACK CAME BACK:MY STORY
HELLO EVERYONE. IT'S NICE TO KNOW THAT THIS MUSIC IS STILL COOL WITH YOU PEOPLE. I, PROBERLY LIKE YOU, LIKE OTHER GENRE'S OF MUSIC TOO, BUT NEWJACK ENCOMPASSES SO MANY STYLES IT'S HARD NOT TO GO BACK AND LISTEN TO YOUR OLD STUFF AGAIN!
I AT THE MOMENT ONLY HEAR NEWJACK, THANK GOODNESS I DIDN'T CHUCK MY MUSIC OUT YEARS AGO. FOR YEARS I WOULDN'T LISTEN TO IT, BUT THANKS TO A RE-EXAMINATION OF MICHAEL JACKSON'S DANGEROUS ALBUM, NEWJACK RE-ENTERED MY SOUL. AFTER THAT REFRESHINGLY NEW AGAIN TRIP, I FOUND A WHOLE BOX AND MORE OF MY OLD NEWJACK. NOW I APPRECIATE IT MORE THAN EVER.
NEWJACK WILL COME BACK!
(guess rubbish pun:-"I can't let newjack get away")

Thanks for joining!!!
I just hope that more people come in and join too, I just KNOW there are more fans of this era out there....
Mad-props for this labor of love!
Hey Knyte,
Because of this site, I rediscovered a long forgotten ABC video, broke out my old "Coolin' at the Playgroud" album, and had a day of much happier, much more productive work. Who says the internet is a waste of time.
Ha-ha!
To all the NJS fans out there, I hope you'll pay some much due respect to the man behind the scenes, and enjoy what he's put together for us all. It's been a pleasure to watch this website, community, and vision evolve.
Keep shinin'!

ZEYL10
What up Knyte,
This is ZEYL10, a new jack swing fanatic. This is one of my all-time favorite sites and a lot of times makes my day go by faster cause i'm always researching new things that i find out on this site.
Thanks for taking the time to set this site up. These were some of the music industries best years (musically) and pretty much shaped how i produce music today.

Re: ZEYL10
I totally agree with ya Zeyl10. This was a golden era in music when all races and sounds were embraced and personified in the NJS sound.Zeyl 10 wrote:These were some of the music industries best years (musically) and pretty much shaped how i produce music today.

Wish those days would come back.
My producer and I are bigtime NJS fans... and always will be!
Peace,
Natalie
Very cool...
Thank you Zeyl10, Ryan, 97sbrown2 and rnbluvva for saying what you said, because the things you talked about are among the many reasons I just can't seem to let this music and era fade into permanent obscurity. It has inspired me in so many ways, and I'm pretty sure I wasn't alone. There are others out there from all walks of life (you'd be surprised!) who dug (and seriously still dig) this music.
So again, thank you. And thanks to everyone who has registered so far. I'm very interested in seeing how this community turns out.

Knyte,
You have truly put together a hell of a site! This is the only..i mean ONLY..site dedicated strictly to new jack swing. For some reason..the genre is overlooked all too often, as far as urban music's dominance through the latter half of the 20th century on into the 21th. I come to this site regularly to see any updates or other interesting facets that you add because I am always intrigued by what is in store next. Once again, I'm glad there are people who understand the significance of new jack and how it is the basis of today's music. Thank you Knyte and assistants for giving new jack the spotlight it deserves. Keep up the good work and I'll be writing again soon!

Hey Knyte,
Futureboy here. I've been visiting your site over the past few months now and...what can I say. It's like reliving my teenage years all over again! I've sent a link on to all my friends back in North Carolina who I grew up with listening 24/7 to Guy, Kid n'Play, Basic Black, Michel'le, Jodeci, Boyz II Men, Kwame, Keith Sweat, Johnny Gill (my favorite) and so much more! And the videos...some of them I've never seen (we didn't have BET in my hometown) have been a blessing to see!
Your site even helped me find a song I had been looking for for about 10 years! I used to make cassettes off the radio way back when and had a song that I couldn't identify. I had people listen to it, tried to find lyrics off the net, etc...and nothing could help! Then I saw a song title on your site..."It's All about You" by Pretty in Pink...and I knew that was it! I found their CD for sale on the net and, 10 days later, I finally found my song!!! Thanks so much for having the information!
So expect me to be a common visitor and poster to your site. Thanks again for all your hard work and dedication to what was the most glorious genre of R&B ever!
