Yo C !!!!!!!!!
Wassup ???
I read your post re this site on Urban Flavours and had to come check it out.
Been a while since I heard you droppin some bombs on the radio bruh. Haven't had a chance to check u out on Street FM but by the sounds of it, I been missing out BIG TYME !
Thanks for all those shows on PBS back in the day...if not for yourself (and Mama Lisa), Ken Walker on WRB and later Wayne F. with WKD, I don't know where I would have tuned in to get my hit of real deal New York Jack Swing and SOLAR Laface grooves, and much much more !
I mean, remember, there was no internet back then - a brutha couldn't go just download hey! !
Peace man,

Ok I thought I should also give props to other Melbourne Radio identities who were boldly pushing all forms of R&B back in the day when it defintely *wasn't* a money spinna.
Max Hollywood - Ken's partner in crime on WRB,
Carol B - had a Soul show on Sunday on PBS.
Simon Goh - the classic Soul Funk Fusion on Wednesday mornings on PBS ( A "special morning to you" dude
).
Vicky - Funk school on PBS - filling in for C all those nites.
Vince Peach - still kicking the Motown sounds on PBS on Saturdays.
and many others who represented who I can't remember the names of, including some dude who used to play electro-soul on Thursday arvo's on PBS which used to make me take my radio into class in year 12 and uni just to hear tracks like Lilio Thomas - "I'm in Luv", Gap Band - "All My Love", Teddy Pendergras - "Joy" to new a few.
Thanx 2 all u catz 4 the great musical experience !!!
