Can't get my pics to show!

Just click on my "WWW" link below which takes you to my Yahoo photo page. All my photos are on it. Particularly, look at the next to last picture in the CHAD'S PHOTOS folder for a 1990 NJS-era pic. I thought I looked so cool too...just don't laugh to hard!!!

Actually...I am yeah. I do a lot of print ads for Bon Macy's in Seattle & San Francisco. That's actually a shot from an underwear shoot that I cropped. Don't want to be too revealing!

But like Troop said "I'm not soupped!" I think I got a triangle head...so there you go!

Cool shots dude ! 8)

Funny thing is I would have never picked you as a New Jack Swinger if I'd seen you on the street !

Well ok, maybe in the New Years Eve 1990 Photo  which is a great shot I might add...very cool....definitely captured a time, place and an attitude.

Peace out.

Cool pics

Luvin those sky-high bangs on your friend! Definitely circa 1990! I might have to bust out my own NJ photo album...rayon/silk shirts, overalls, and all.

LOL! Yeah...don't look like the typical NJS'er. I grew up in a small North Carolina town and lived in a predominately urban section of town. While the rest of the town pretty much ostracized me, me and my friends (who completely accepted me being a different race) were pretty heavy into the emerging culture...and NJS was a huge part of it! Matter of fact, when I was driving into work today I was listening to YO MTV RAPS, VOL. 2 and can still rap all the words to I GO TO WORK. Kind of like riding a bike you know...you never forget!

Looking forward to seeing who all the rest of you are as well!

Yeah I'm feeling you Futureboy. While I don't think I was ostracized, I think the odd person would look at me sometime and think to themselves what is this guy on about ? I mean I had the channels in the hair not to mention my attempt on the B.Brown gumbo look, as well as the Black Hood or Turtleneck and pair of Hi-Tops nikes (normally Jordans).

It was pretty crazy but I was also some of the happiest times of my life, when I was really living the music and the culture.

Around Australia in that time too it was nowhere like how it is now in terms of the popularity of Hip-Hop and R&B ...now it's everywhere. Back then it was a bit more of an underground scene, which has it's good and bad points I suppose. But having to stay up late to hear some real deal stuff on the radio or having to fork out extra dollars to get that particular remix on import is something I don't miss.

But yeah, you are spot on bout remembering lyrics !

I don't know "I go to work" too well (except for maybe the opening line hehe) but give me BBD -Poison (The album) or Guy - The Future and it'll be liking singing my own national anthem or something heheh.
