Hello everyone my name is Swing! and I'm introducing myself for the 1st time.
I am A TRUE NJS head to the death of me.
Now for the What the Hell part of this.
I was VERY psyched to see my all time Favorite group this summer in Detroit @ Chene Park..............GUY!!!!
I was VERY disappointed. Aaron stepped on the stage and started to sing Smile and I was thinking that Teddy and Damion was going to come out on the hook but nooooooooooooo.
I was like where is G and Y??? We just have U(Aaron).
Don't get me wrong I love Aaron but I'm hurt by the fact that the concert was promoted as Guy and thats who I paid to see.
If they would've promoted as Aaron Hall from Guy I still would've went to hear him sing his songs or guy.
I feel robbed. I just hope that they come back as the trio so I can see all of them in concert cuz I haven't....though this is the 2nd time I have seen Aaron but never saw GUY.
ALL and ALL the concert was off the CHAIN. Swv did their thing and Tony Toni Tone tore up and then GUY, OOPS I mean Aaron just set it off.
I enjoyed myself VERY MUCH I just want to see GUY(Aaron Hall, Damion Hall, and Teddy Riley) as a whole!!!!!!

Be at least glad that the Voice, Aaron Hall showed up. He can sing almost every Guy song, just backed up by a band or a tape. Here in The Netherlands, they promoted a Guy concert and who showed up? Teddy Riley. All he can do is Teddy's Jam 1-3.. Now THAT'S a disappointment

What up Swing!, good to have you here. I am sure you will enjoy posting as well as reading (which you've probably done a fair bit already  ) here, so keep your posts coming :D . As Ernasto already mentioned, we only had Teddy on stage in the Netherlands and I think I'd rather have Aaron, who can sing all the leads, than Teddy, who even had other people singing over the tracks. It wasn't a bad show, just not what we paid our money for. But agreed: when you pay to see GUY, you want to see GUY and not just one third of the group. With all the history that we now know of, I'm afraid we'll never get to see them together again.

NNNNOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
I refuse to give up on them, but ya'll do have a very valid point and now I don't feel as bad.
I guess it was better to have Aaron(Mr. Voice) to sing all of the songs as opposed to having just T.R.
Man All I can say is that was the only disappointed part of the GUY set is that T.R. and D.H didn't show, BUT MAN did the Nasty Man hold it down for real.
He sang all of the jams and the band/background singers were on point also.
I just have to say something that he said and that is," He is still the m**** f****ng 1987 Nasty Man " and he DEFINATELY PROVED IT WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!!!!
I will keep the post coming.
p.s. sorry about the double post
