Was an avid listener of njs/r&b/soul and hiphop from 88'. Use to be a dancer, did the whole running man/shuffel, pretty boy, windmills ect. use to jump inside those circles people use to make among the crowds at under age clubs and do my funky moves lol, owned hammer pants, numerous over alls, had spray painted denim jackets and jeans, wore my clothes backwards and inside out, rocked the high top fades and lines shaved, was into that whole culture very passionately!

It's been a good minuit since those days and the scene has totaly changed, the music took a different sound, some of the r&b and soul nowa days to me is a generic version of the early to mid 90's stuff. I miss those days of basic black, highland place mobsters, immature, today, mc brains, full force ect.

Music back then was all about the Hype s h i t, joints like bbd's 'she's dope' remix, poison, jodeci's 'come talk to me' remix, mc brains 'oochi coochie', highland place mobsters 'n.a.k.i.d.', full force 'quickie' and 'ain't my type of hype' from the house party soundtrack, abc's 'iesha' ect. ect. ect. was all dope as f * * k man, they don't really make music like that any more.

I lost my love for r&b music after the njs era and it's groups and singers kinda started dyin down and dissapearing and got heavely involved in hiphop and am now an avid listener of hiphop as i was for njs/r&b/soul back in the day, but do manage to take a little time out of hiphop to peep the joints that use to get a young buck to cut rugs, i was like 13-14 in the njs era, i'm turning 28 this year, so njs era and it's groups/singers is my roots.

The music takes me way back, so i'll always have respect for it.

well, i've blabbered enough, glad i found this site and have found some cats still passionate about the early 90's hey!.

love and respect.

(ps) the name i've used to register is wack and corny as hell but was the mc name i use to go by back in the day lol.

hey hey, i've been gone for a minuit. I had a baby boy early this year so life's been very different and haven't had the time to do the things i used to. Just goin' through the site and seen some news that either excited me or saddened me. Always good to see heads still going solid for the era that once kept the blood pumpin' through my veins as a young buck.

god bless ya'll.

Good to see you're back again B Love and congratulations on your little one! As you will see, some things have changed and some have stayed the sam, which is generally how life is... So how did you name your little man? :D

Cheers Freez!!

Our little guys name is Prince B Love Junior...........

Haha nah his name is Wade Cale. Wade taken from Dwayne Wade of Miami Heat.

Story behind that is..........I use to be a HUGE Baskteball freak. I haven't been a fan of NBA sicne players like Jordan left and the league being very mediocre with new bragadocio players thinkin they the greatest in a league not even 50% as dynamic as the jordan, ewing, brakley, isiah, malone etc. days. When D-Wade came into the league and brought a game very similar to Jordan with the humbleness seldom seen in todays league it brought me back into the game i use to love and i thank Dwayne Wade for that........

Wade also means "Advancer/Advancing" and Cale means "Bold One". Also A majority of people named Wade are known to be very atheletic. In todays society of computers, internet, x-box, wii, psp and playstation being active is very important.

Thas da storeeeee boyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

lol peace

Hey B Love, congrats on your son! You live on . . . I'm happy for you!

You're so right about how a name can define what sort of person you are, I hope he turns out to be a determined, yet humble sports star like his name-sake.

I hear you on the D Wade comments. He breathed humbleness and humility into a league which at times seems full of bling and arrogance. But J Kidd is still my favorite player - he's still the closest thing to what Magic Johnson was (minus the charisma and million dollar smile). There are some exciting point guards coming through (Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Raymond Felton) but none of them are of that same big rebounding, peddal to the metal, no-look-passing entertainer that Magic or Kidd have been.

Nice to see the Aussies representing strong on the NJS4E!
