What's up, NJS4E?

My name is d.p. and I NEED YOUR HELP!!! I work at a radio station and I want to do a Old School Hip Hop Weekend THIS WEEKEND! (January 28-30) I need some suggestions from all of you about some songs we could play! I'll check back from time to time and see what you suggest. I'll need the name of the song and the artist.

Thanks for your help!

d 2 da p!

Very cool. What station do you work for? I used to work for Mediabase 24-7, so I'm very familiar with nearly every rhythmic and urban station in North America. Thanks!

I work for an old school station in Tennessee.

It depends on how you define the Old School term i guess. For some, mid 90s hip-hop is considered old school, while others think Kurtis Blow and Grandmaster Flash fits the term.

It's all about the supposed target groups for the show.

hey d.p the "hiphop" thread we got has some great imfo & lists that may help you , just scroll through the post's theirs tons of stuff their !
