Hi people,

I am a New Jack fan. I have been collecting music for 18 years and for 14 years I have been on a quest to find everything by Teddy Riley. I am close to getting most of his stuf but, there are some 12s and CDs that have eluded me. I am looking for the following:

9*1*1 album from 1994
Wreckx N Effect ft Bobby Brown-Project Scenario from 1992
Teddy Riley-Blackrock from 2002/3
Jodeci-Come & Talk to Me TR Remix(I doubt this is for real)
Divine Force-TV The Jizzer from 1986
Awesome Fousome-Monster Beat from 1986
Ray Rock & KC-Minnie, date unknown
Tammy Lucas-Full album from 1992/93
Blackstreet-First album Promo-1993/early 94
Michael Jackson-Unrealeased Teddy Joints from whenever

These are just a few things of the top of my head, if you guys can help then let me know. Whilst trying to find all the Teddy tracks ever, I realised that there were alot of other artists and producers that were also making great music, so I am also looking for:

Intro 3rd album-Mellisima
Kenny Greene-Unreleased material
Aaron Hall-Thank you + Unreleased material
Eddie F/Dave Jam Hall/Nevelle-Unreleased material
Jodeci-4th album tracks
Devante Swing-Unreleased tracks
N-Ton-RJ album from 1994(Not the Dallas austin group), you can have my left finger for this one.

I have alot of things that people may be after, so maybe we can do something. I am pretty certain that I have every GUY track or remix, unless you know something I dont. I have over 2.5k records and over 1k Cds, so please try me, you never know, unless you ask.

I almost died when I heard Teddy is going on that cruise. Does anyone know if GUY are touring still, anything about the UK or NYC? I hear Jodeci's new stuff is very good, although Steve Lucas has been saying that for the last 4 years.

My mouth is watering at the prospect of GUY, Blackstreet and Jodeci all on one line up. Can you imagine, Teddy on the stage at the same time as Devante. or Aaron on the stage at the same time as Chauncey. The music business is a strange place and you can never say anything until you actually see it happen. I never thought that Raphael Saadiq would do a show in London, then he ended up doing a 6 nights at The Jazz Cafe, which has a maximum capacity of 300, you are a genius Mr Saadiq!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I thought Anthony Hamilton would release XTC but MCA made sure that didn't happen, now he is one of the biggest singers in R&B land. What were they thinking? Were they even, thinking?

It is GREAT to know that there are other people that feel so strongly about the New Jack Funk. Keep that funk alive, it is only through all of us that we can ensure that New Jack is not forgotten. There will come a time when people will really appreciate its impact on the music world.

Welcome Jodecidal, I guess there's more of your kind over here, tough I wouldn't give 'my left finger' for anything

. You can be sure you're not the only one on this holy quest for music that you don't own yet, but on the other hand, it's good to still be looking for gems that you might never even find, it keeps the tension good, I guess!

Hope to see you around some more, so we can share thoughts, opinions and experiences, which is why this message board is so wonderful to me.

Wouldn't we all like to have those tracks that never saw the light of day.
Just a word though, please beware that this forum does not support material - unissued stuff being passed around. i know you're just asking about the stuff, but this opens a lot of doors for crazy people wanting to pirate music and use this site to do this - as the NJS4EVER.COM site does not allow this. (PLEASE QUOTE ME IF AM WRONG GUYS - AS I DID THE SAME THING LISTING A LIST OF UNRELEASED MATERIAL THAT I AM INTERESTED IN - AND THE MODERATORS LOCKED THE POST).

I will know this is not your intention.

So again, please dont take this the wrong way, but be careful.

I really hope you get into the spirit on the message board , share your memories & knowlege of new jack swing however as zakir stated please be aware we do have a strict NO TRADING policy of unreleased material , that list you posted has some things that have caused alot of unwanted trouble on here & i hope your here for the right reasons & not to trade which im sure you are anyway , so please disscusing certain unreleased things is not what it's about on here ! I am a HUGE fan of New Jack. I am more interested in any new info that we can get on NJ acts, than anything else. So thanks for the heads up, I will be more dilligent in the future.

Welcome to the forum Jodecidal!!! I take it you are a Jodeci fan?? Did you manage to make it to their '92 appearance at the London Hippodrome? Or maybe you have seen them elsewhere??

Hey guys!!!

Thanks for LOVE!!!!! I saw Jodeci at the Hippodrome in 1992. Devante came out with his cigar. But, probably more noteworthy than that was the GUY concert in 1991. That was AMAZING. The Apollo staff switched on the lights, trying to tell GUY to go home and they carried on performing with the lights on for 45 mins.

I love JOdeCI and I love GUY. I am a HUGE TR fan and DeVante is one of the mysteries of the world, he is definately the man to make quality music.

I have never been to Australia but, I went to New Zealand and there are ALOT of New Jack fans out there.

You are obviously one with a passion for the sound. I am a BIG fan of all that sound. Its kinda scary, coz I still play GUY's 1st album in my car. I am trying to move with the times but, I think I am stuck in a weird time warp that I cant get out of. Good looking out.

Its very strange! After almost 1000 posts, I feel like I am in a time warp and have been sent back in time. Most of you will know who I am. I am known on NJS4E as JOdecidal and have been working closely with Knyte to promote NJS in Europe and beyond. I have organised 2 official NJS4E parties in London, both of which were a success and the numbers seem to be growing. We are doing another party in London on December 3rd and the aim of these parties is to create an offline community that are passionate about the music and hopefully forge new friendships across Europe and beyond. We are collectively tired of what we have been subjected to listen to in clubs and are 'taking it back.....to the beginning'. We have members from all over Europe that have attended: Freez'-Holland, Sebswing-France, Will Charme-France, DJ_Blade-Holland, Miss Soulful and Divazz Entertainment-Holland and many others.

I was the official photographer for NJS4E during the GUY concert in LA earlier this year and although we didn't get many shots during the concerts, Teddy Riley and crew did invite us out to dinner after the show(Me, Knyte, Zap, Jack) and we have got some shots which will be out up on the main site soon.

Knyte and I have decided to set up NJS4E Europe, which involves all NJS4E Europe's promotional aspects coming through London. So, this is the next step in the NJS4E saga. We already have two parties lined up in Amsterdam in April for the NJS4E World Wide Meet....very exciting.

We have also had contact from all three members of GUY who are working with us, in different capacities.
The future includes Jodeci amongst others. 'The Future' is nigh, the future is NJS4E.

There have been other things too but, I must stop before I bore you to death!

Its funny that I have to write this after such a busy year with NJS4E....life goes on, though and so shall we!

Just trying to build on what that m***** f***** burnt down! It has been a tough few weeks, alot of phone calls to the US and lots of e-mails. The guy that re-designed the website is a good friend of mine from www.evolvingnotrevolving.com . The site needed a face lift and he has done us proud. The skeleton of the site was painful to see, a couple of weeks ago and this is why, some positive postings were required and some points of discussion, when everyone came back.

Well done to Knyte for the completion of the new site. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You have worked your butt off, buddy! We are SO proud of you!

Stevie-Swing....has been as crucial a player as ever, with the use of Soul2Street as a refuge, as well as the massive regeneration of this site.
