What's up New Jacks?
Hey there...
I'm Danj!, 27, from Baltimore. I grew up listening to pretty much all the popular music of the 80s and 90s- the R&B, hip-hop, pop, and rock... I was a pretty big fan of the NJS movement as a kid. I def. remember listening to V103 and hearing a LOT of Guy and Al B., and my sister was a big Bobby fan...
Somewhere between then and a few years ago, however, I forgot a lot of the great music of that time. But I've been going back and getting excited all over again, especially in the last year or so. I've been hearing songs I haven't heard in years (i.e. Jeff Redd's "You Called & Told Me"), not to mention discovering songs I'd never caught wind of (i.e. Stacy Lattisaw's "What You Need") I guess that explains how I've gotten here, and I'm sure I'll get reminded of even more NJS classic stuff.

Welcome to the family. You have already made some great topic points.
NJS4E came third in our category at the VH1 Hip Hop Honours Awards. What an amazing achievement.
