Hey im kinda a "newjack" here on these forums, im 16 and influenced to the new jack lifestyle from GTA San Andreas when I heard Rub You the Right Way- Johnny Gill and other tracks such as I got the feeling- Today, and New Jack Swing- Wrecks N' Effect.

My favorite genre of New Jack Swing is the upbeat tempo and the works ;)

Just wondering if you guys can give me a New Jack quickfix? It would be appreciated.

16 eh? Welcome to the fold.....you are walking proof that this music is forever. As far as a "quickfix" is concerned, there are a number of outlets that play new jack swing music if that's what you're looking for. Our streaming radio page...admittedly hasn't been updated in a while, but there are some shows there. And of course Yahoo Music added a New Jack Swing channel a while ago.

Hope that helps. Last but not least (and we don't allow it here to stay legal)....but Okayplayer.com is known for file sharing. It's a wonder they haven't been sued yet, but then again....the music model is changing anyway.

Welcome aboard!! I think the year I was born 1976 was also an excellent year for music albeit more funky and disco oriented. So I know how you feel as I collect music from 15 years before I was born like hard bop and early soul/doo-wop.
It's retro-nuevo not a New Jack ballad!!
