Do you mean the album list? That's postponed until Easter. If you mean the NJS Top 100 for tracks, that's going to be in a few months, we finished the last one in September or October I think.

Yeah, we should keep the singles list a fall event, and then do the albums list in spring. Can't have too many lists going on at once.

I see this chart list thing is something to look out for! Great! I think you enjoy seeing the final list, especially when you have sent in your own list, because you know you have added something to that final list then.

These charts really are events, aren't they? With a climax when the final list is released.

Just check the 'New Jack Swing in the media' section. All top lists that we have done until now can be found there. The next list will be the Soundtracks & compilations list. That is, if I get enough submissions. I really need about 15 submissions for that and the way things have been going with the charts recently, I'm not sure if we'll have enough submissions.

The Soundtracks/Compilations list is probably the hardest one to do for me personally. It usually end up consisting of all soundtracks since I only have a very small handful of NJS based compilations.

All I have is New Jack ballads volumes 1 and 3. I think Rhino did a New Jack compilation that was decent about a decade ago. But there was no need for me to get it since I had everything elsewhere and besides it focused on the common stuff.

I must have nearly 500 various artists compilations for soul music. I don't cherish them. I have them because CDs weren't issued for many, many hits and original albums. New Jack and Hip Hop collectors don't know how easy they have it.
It's retro-nuevo not a New Jack ballad!!
