Hey! My name is Lanell and I'm from the Bronx, NY (where hip-hop originated). I actually found a link to NJS4E on wikipedia when I was looking up some info on New Jack Swing.

New Jack Swing has had (and still has) a HUGE impact on my life especially when I was in middle school and high school. We all know that those are very important years when we are growing up, so the music that we listen to in those years stay with us as well. Listening to NJS songs take me back to a time when music was music. Personally, I can't get down with the music of today. I teach high school and my students debate with me all the time about "their music" versus NJS. I'm sorry, but there is no competition. I'm a New Jack Swing Fan for life!!!
