Re: Roll Call/Welcome back 2025

So great to see both Stevie and Bootknockalizer in here.

What's really nuts for me is realizing the day I met Boot in person at New York Comic-Con was already ages go - in October 2017. That's nearly EIGHT years ago.

Yes. Resurrected.

Great to see you here! Wish I could react to your post, but apparently there are no official "react" extensions for phpBB3 (the tech this forum is built on). I tried an unofficial extension and it caused errors. So nope! Playing it safe.

Hi Freez'

Glad you brought this up. I think there may be two factors at work:

This makes me wanna pose the question: Were there any Canadian new jack swings acts? My memory is blank and I can't really think of any

The only thing that came close was a duo from Halifax, N.S. called MC J & Cool G. Even Canadians don't seem to remember them....but of course I do. They ...

I really don't think hearing disco in a club would sound any better than at home.

Really? I think whenever you hear a song blasted in a public venue...it just sounds better. For example, I hear PYT by MJ a lot these days when I'm out....and my reverence for that song has only increased. Maybe ...
